Purple Cat Vet is a HVHQLC (high-volume-high-quality-low-cost) veterinary clinic providing spays, neuters, and select vaccinations to CATS in Northwest Wisconsin and Eastern Minnesota.

Our clients are individuals with pet cats, farmers with working cats, rescues, humane societies, and anyone else with a cat to spay or neuter.

There are NO INCOME requirements to use our services.

Pet Cat Spay $105

Pet Cat Neuter $85

Farm/Feral Cat with MANDATORY EAR TIP and vaccines $70

How It Works

① Schedule for Spay/Neuter through this website following the prompts starting with “Request An Appointment.” All surgeries require $25 non-refundable deposit paid by credit/debit card. All friendly cats must be vaccinated for FVRCP (distemper). See top of FAQ page for vaccination requirements.

② Check your email for confirmation of deposit paid and for confirmation of surgery date.

③ Bring your cat(s) to their appointment after following all vaccination requirements and surgery instructions Surgery drop-off window is 8-9:30 am the day of appointment.

④ We will call or text when your cat is ready for pick up. All cats will be ready to go home by 3 pm the day of surgery.

⑤ You will pay the remainder of surgery charges (minus the $25 deposit) at pick-up.

⑥ You will receive a paper copy of your proof of surgery and vaccinations. Take a photo of this record for easy retrieval and save the paper copy in your pet’s file.

TO SCHEDULE THE $70 SURGERY PLUS EAR TIP AND RABIES VACCINE PACKAGE: Follow the prompts to schedule a spay or neuter surgery. (Choose spay if the sex is not known.). On STEP 5 of scheduling “Confirm Appointment” choose the PACKAGE titled FARM/FERAL/COLONY (MANDATORY EAR TIP).

*IMPORTANT: All non-feral cats (even friendly outdoor farm cats) are required to have had two FVRCP (distemper) vaccines with the second given at least 2 weeks before surgery. See the top of the FAQ page for details.

Have A Feral Cat?

We are experts at working with feral cats.

TO SCHEDULE A FERAL CAT: Follow the prompts to schedule a spay or neuter surgery. (Choose spay if the sex is not known.). On STEP 5 of scheduling “Confirm Appointment” choose the PACKAGE titled FARM/FERAL/COLONY (MANDATORY EAR TIP). They will receive sterilization surgery, ear tip of left ear, Rabies vaccine and Distemper vaccine as part of the package.

Start trapping several days before the appointment and bring them to us in the live trap. We do not require the FVRCP (distemper) vaccines on truly feral cats (afraid of humans and will not allow contact).
